This exhibition (2010/08/01-07) of nihonga art by Kato Kei (加藤敬) at Gallery Tomo (ぎゃらりぃ朋) includes a wide range of color combinations and styles - just one example being the one on the promotional card.  If you're in Ginza, this one is worth taking the time to see I think.
