In the artist's words:

私の育った戦後の街の風景は焼けた建物の残骸、赤土の原っぱ。

私の中の茶色の原風景はこの度の東日本大震災の爪痕に重なります。水底に沈んだ人々の無念の思い、残された人たちの悲しみ。思い出の古着をまとう椅子たちと古着を裂いて巻いた布玉。

人々の記憶の糸をつないだニュースペーパーのこより。これらのオブジェを使ったインスタレーションで悲しみの中から希望の形に祈りをこめたレクィエム。
